Privacy Policy

• Account information. When you sign in, we receive your Bluesky account identifier, handle, profile picture and the server that hosts your account, plus access tokens that let Deletem act for you. These are kept in an encrypted cookie in your browser, not on our servers.
• Your posts and likes. When you list or delete records, they pass through our servers between your browser and your account’s server. We use them only to answer that request and don’t keep a copy.
• Technical logs. Like most websites, our servers record basic request and error information to keep the service running and secure. We leave your handle out of these logs and shorten account identifiers, and the logs are kept for about a day.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous statistics such as page views, page performance and which features are used. They aren’t linked to your Bluesky account and don’t use cookies.

Only to provide Deletem: signing you in, showing and deleting the records you choose, keeping the service secure and working, and understanding which features are useful. We process it to provide the service you asked for and in our legitimate interest in running it.

We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or show ads.

We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your account against forged requests. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser.

• Bluesky and your account’s server. Signing in, listing and deleting all go through the server that hosts your account. Handle lookups and images use Bluesky’s public services.
• Service providers. Our hosting and analytics provider processes data on our behalf to run the site.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Sign-in cookies expire after 7 days without use, or when you sign out. Logs are kept for about a day. We don't store your posts or likes at all.

You can sign out at any time. That clears Deletem's cookies and asks your account's server to revoke Deletem's access. Records you delete with Deletem are deleted from your account, and we can't restore them.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to how it's used. Since we keep almost nothing, there is usually nothing to export or delete, but you can contact us with any request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Deletem requires an existing Bluesky or AT Protocol account and is not directed at children under 13.
